The Cadillac Garden Club brings together individuals passionate about gardening, landscape design, and conservation to beautify the community and promote sustainable practices. As members of the Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc., and affiliated with national organizations, the club emphasizes education in floral design, horticulture, and environmental stewardship.

A highlight of their community involvement, the club maintains the Sound Garden at 398 Chestnut St., a public green space that’s enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Their biggest fundraising event, the annual Holiday Home Tour, takes place on the first Saturday in December, drawing in supporters from all around.

With a dedication to enhancing Cadillac’s natural beauty, the Cadillac Garden Club promotes gardening as both an art and a science. Members exchange knowledge on everything from native plants to innovative landscaping techniques, fostering a shared love for nurturing the environment. Through workshops, seasonal projects, and community events, the club inspires locals to explore and appreciate the beauty and diversity of plants and flowers in everyday life.

The club holds monthly meetings at the First Presbyterian Church of Cadillac, welcoming anyone interested in horticulture and community improvement. Get involved by volunteering at the Sound Garden, attending events, or reaching out directly to club president Leslie Hoover at (517) 285-0110 or via their website, cadillacgardenclub.com
