Gopherwood Concerts

Established in 1984, the Gopherwood mission is to bring the best musical entertainment possible to Cadillac, Michigan!

The non-profit found its name due to the fact that most people in the group burned wood for heat and they all had to “Go-For-Wood” each day to fuel their work burners.

Over the years concerts these concerts have been held in many locations around the area and now you can find them most often at the historic Elks Club building, downtown. They play host to many Michigan groups as well as national acts; their season runs fall through spring each year.
