We are in the 56th year of our founding, and what better way to celebrate half a century’s success than to rebrand with a new look? As of May 1, 2024, we will be using a new logo for events and branding.
In January of 2023, logo design submissions were solicited via the Cadillac Arts Council Facebook page. Multiple logo design submissions were received and evaluated. Whether to keep the legacy logo was also considered, but a new design that is the very personification of Cadillac arts was chosen. The artistic mind behind the new logo is Kurt Baney, a former Member at Large of the Cadillac Arts Council.
“I felt honored to have been chosen for the new logo design. I wanted the logo to represent all of our arts groups in a manner of speaking, I really didn’t see any other option than the concept that it’s an ‘under one roof’ catalyst organization. I used the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion shape as my inspiration as well as the two lakes that are the heart of our city. The rest just fell in line,” said Kurt when asked about his concept.
“The arts both in and around our community are an extremely important factor to me when choosing where to live. My family loves Cadillac because of all the amazing talent we have and the uniqueness that is the arts in our town.”
